The Subaru Impreza was first seen in Monte Carlo rally in 1997. This chassis was then used by Colin McRae, Pierro Liatti and Kenneth Erikkson. This Subaru is now for sale on Prodrive drive website and is priced at 85,000 pounds.
The new Prodrive website is dedicated to pre-owned Prodrive-built rally cars. The 1997 Impreza with the chassis number, PRO-WRC-97-001, was the first rally car built under the new WRC regulations. This car was then rebuilt in 1998, and then sold to a Prodrive customer. This Subaru Impreza 1997 rally car has been fully restored by McKinstry motorsports.
Seven other Subaru Impreza rally cars are on sale. Seventeen other Prodrive Impreza Ns are also available through the Prodrive website. The 2005 Subaru Impreza Group N is being sold for 50,000 pounds and the 2008 specification Subaru Impreza is being sold at a whopping 350,000 pounds.
