The all new Subaru Impreza WRX sedan

Subaru automobiles manufactured 2008 Subaru Impreza WRX is a venture with Fuji Heavy Industries. The main aim while designing the Subaru Impreza WRX was to provide maximum comfort, space, utility, sophistication and safe driving. The new 2008 Subaru Impreza is integrated with Subaru Symmetrical AWD (All-Wheel drive) along with a horizontally-opposed engine.

Unlike the earlier models, Subaru Impreza has had a complete makeover and comprises of redesigned body construction, chassis and a drivetrain which considers safety and setting on a priority basis. For better agility and shock absorption the dual wishbone stern suspension works very effectively.

To enhance the safety factor of vehicle, Vehicle Dynamics control (VDC) is also present. Subaru Impreza is powered with a 2.5 litre Boxer engine which performs brilliantly at low and mid torque levels. The engine is specially modified to enhance the emission and fuel efficiency. To increase the manoeuvrability of car, automatic and manual transmissions are modified to provide faster shifting.

To ensure high safety, ring shaped reinforcement frame is also adopted. In case of an accident to minimise the feet injuries curtain airbags, side SRS airbags, dual SRS airbags along with rear and front crumple zones are added in the body structure. This will minimise the injuries that are caused to the feet. The interiors of Subaru Impreza are quite impressive which displays utility and elegance at the same time. The body of Subaru Impreza is well proportioned along with harmonious and balanced panel curves.
