Subaru Impreza – tough competition for rivals

The Subaru Impreza has been redesigned for 2008, and launched in many new models, including a four-door hatch back. The newer version of the Subaru Impreza has European design and class. The four new trim levels in Subaru Impreza are 2.5i, WRX, WRX STI and Outback Sport.
Subaru Impreza WRX model has a turbocharged version of the engine which produces 224 hp and 226 lb-ft of torque. The other trim level of 2.5i and Outback Sport model has a horizontally opposed 2.5 litre four-cylinder engine. The Subaru Impreza STI can up the turbocharged output to 305 hp and 290 lb-ft. The Subaru Impreza comes with a six-speed manual transmission system. The outback sport Subaru Impreza has a hatchback design with a slightly raised suspension for better ground clearance.

The Subaru Impreza STI is only available in the hatchback form. It has a muscular body panel, 18- inch alloy wheels and bolstered sport seats. Subaru Impreza gives an enjoyable level of performance. The competing performance model of the Subaru Impreza is the best choice for any driving enthusiast. The STI version of Subaru Impreza is a totally different experience. It provides exactly what the driver wants – strong brakes, a taut suspension, quick steering response and the potent rush of acceleration.
