Subaru Impreza In Colin McRae Rally 2.0

I tried driving the Subaru Impreza in Colin McRae Rally 2.0 recently. It’s not a simulation as such, more a fictional layout of tracks in eight different countries and you have a choice of more than 20 cars, including Subaru. The Subaru Impreza is one of the higher end cars that you have to unlock, but only experienced drivers would be able to drive it anyway.

The engine sounds and dash displays are different on each car model and Colin McRae 2.0 has a convincing cockpit view with the first-person perspective, which sways when you turn. I imagine most players, like me, would opt for the over-the-hood view as you get a smoother performance and better view. Having said that, after driving the Subaru Impreza round several different courses, I’ve decided the real thing is just inimitable.
