Subaru Impreza, Age, Power and performance…..

Now as anyone who reads my blog will be aware, I am a bit of a stats freak when it comes to cars – especially our favourite beloved Subaru Impreza…..

Now I have put the image of the amazing limited edition / special edition Subaru Impreza RB5 on this post because I think it is one of the most superior Impreza’s ever made, if you agree with me great, if you don’t agree with me than after reading this post I would like you to tell me why not!!??
In late 2006 early 2007 the special edition RB320 was released. Special as it was to remind of the great Subaru Rally car driver Richard Burns, who unfortunately died approximately a year before. This car had every Prodrive option packed into it so it is the highest bhp producing, factory/Prodrive, standard Impreza up to date….
My point is that the Impreza RB5 is one of the lowest bhp producing Subaru Impreza’s, producing only 215bhp, yet it is one of the quickest of the mark – covering the 0-60mph sprint in only 4.7 seconds!!! Where as the RB320 takes 4.8 seconds. I think this is impressive hence why I think that the RB5 is one of, if not the best produced Impreza!!
