New Subaru Car To Be Unleashed At The Acropolis

Subaru World Rally Car team duo, Petter Solberg and Chris Atkinson are well excited about their forthcoming race this weekend. This weekend, they switch to the new Subaru Impreza WRC2008!

They certainly need a good kickstart in Greece this weekend to start the season. Petter, the 2003 World Rally Champion, is already feeling positive and excited about the new car, although we all know the Acropolis will not be an easy event.

Petter said:

“We finished third here last year and this time we have the new car, so I’ll be really pushing for a strong result. It’s a very difficult event; very rocky and hot, and the stages have always been very rough so it’s hard on us and the cars. We’ve had a few days in the new car now, so I have a good feeling from it and really hope that we’ll be in a good position to fight at the front. I’ll be at 110 per cent, definitely.”
