A compact car called the Subaru Impreza was first introduced in 1993 by Subaru. When it first appeared it was available as a 101bhp 1.8-litre four-wheel-drive model only. From then on, these cars came out in a variety of models with varying and improving features. The new Subaru 2008 has been released, a car commonly noticed for its conservative styling.
A standard full-time all-while drive is one of the features of the Subaru Impreza. This feature exists in all models of Subaru Impreza. There are models that are also equipped with the manual transmission that uses coupling to lock the centre differential. When this is closed, the power is split into half from front to rear. Therefore the all-wheel drive system is a better design as it comes with an automatic transmission that is very provocative due to its sense of monitoring the available traction to transfer power accordingly.
The Subaru Impreza not only stands out from the outside, but is also very attractive and functional from the inside. The car features a legible instrument cluster that comes along with three round climate controls and analog gauges. Since all the major controls of the car are placed within sight of the driver, they are easy to reach and access. Soft seats with plenty of space for head and leg room make this car a very comfortable one. Framed windows reduce the sound of the wind to a great extent and improve body rigidity.
The Subaru Impreza has standard equipment with safety measures and hence is perfect for use as a compact family car.
