The Concept in Motion will be revealed at the show, although Subaru is remaining tight-lipped about what the car will look like. Speculation is rife, with many expecting the new concept car to be a new incarnation of the flagship Subaru Impreza. The Subaru Impreza WRX STi 330S has a power output of 326bhp, a boost of 30bhp, which gives the Subaru Impreza WRX STi 330S a scorching 0 to 62mph in just 4.8 seconds. The top speed of the Impreza remains at 155mph.

Subaru has improved the suspension of the new range and provided larger 18” wheels with Dunlop tyres for extra grip. It has its own specific suspension and an exhaust that is freer-flowing. Steve Brown, an insurance Claims Adjuster, was introduced to the brand by his son Ian who is a Subaru-enthusiast. Ian earlier had quite a few WR1 and WRXs. It was officially announced at the British Motor Show which was held in July.

The Subaru Impreza, driven by Jock had a victory gap of more than 3 minutes over second placed Donnie McDonald and Neil Ewing. David Bogie of Dumfries, last years winner had to retire on Sunday, in the third stage following problems with his Mitsubishi Evo 9.

Craig McMiken and Christine Sanderson finished third followed by Richard Dickson of New Abbey and Sandy Dobie of Castle Douglas with a gap of 11 seconds.
