The Keski-Uusimaa Rally, the fourth round of the Finnish Rally Championship turned out to be a winner for the Subaru Team. Jari Ketomaa of Team Subaru emerged as the clear winner in his latest TMR 08 Subaru Impreza WRX STI.
Ketomaa is a two times Finnish Champion, along with his co-driver Miika Teiskonen, and they were pretty pleased to start the Finnish season this summer after having a series of satisfactory testing sessions.
Pleased with the performance of his Subaru Impreza WRX STI Ketomaa said that they did a lot of development work with Tommi Makinen Racing. They ran tests on the Subaru Impreza in Romania, Italy and recently even in Finland.
Ketomaa in his Subaru Impreza WRX STI beat Mitsubishi driver Kosti Katajamaki by 19.9 seconds.
He said that they had a terrific rally with no real problems. The Subaru Impreza was extremely impressive in its handling fast gravel roads. This was the second victory in a row both for Ketomaa and Subaru Impreza.
This was also good news for Tommi Makinen Racing. They were very happy with the development of the new TMR 08 Subaru Impreza. The potential of the Subaru Impreza was well demonstrated by Ketomaa’s performance.
