Subaru rally driver Hayden Paddon continues to dominate the PWRC (Production Car World Rally Championship) after another days driving in the Vodafone Rally de Portugal.
Paddon began the day with juicy lead over rival driver Anders Grondal but after a severe transmission failure Grondal fell three minutes behind Paddon.

With the warning of possible snow falling this week Subaru UK must be hoping that more Brits will consider purchasing one of their models to help beat the hazardous wintery conditions.

Both cars look awesome with the Lamborghini able to reach 217mph due to its new 6.5-litre V12 pumping out a colossal 700hp and 509lb ft of torque mated to Lamborghini’s Independent Shift Rod (ISR) transmission.
Meanwhile the Pagani will also produce 700hp from it’s 6.0-litre, twin-turbo Mercedes-AMG V12 engine. However the Huayra hints at a top speed of over 230mph!

I’ve Just read that Subaru have debuted the new Forester S-Edition in Australia with Subaru-Australia. It will be released in the UK later this year and it looks awesome.
It’s been heavily influenced by the Impreza WRX as it features a turbocharged 2.5 litre engine producing 193 Kilowatts of power, 347 Nm of torque with a five-speed STI paddleshift automatic transmission. Looks like the engine has basically come straight out of the WRX, which can only be a massive positive?
For a limited period you’ll even be able to have painted in the exclusive WR blue.

Due to the current economic climate and the rediculous price of fuel I have had to keep hold of my 11 year cheap run a round and hold off buying the Subaru I really want because it’s taking longer to save up the cash.
However, a lucky punter from Oxford won a brand new four-door WRX-STI as part of a competition organised by Subaru.
The competition required entrants to submit a written article explaining which vehicles their dream garage would consist of. Apparently the judges were looking for passion and knowledge.
What really annoyed me was that the winner was especially delighted that the car had four doors which made it practical for his two young children! Since when was practicality have anything to do with a Subaru WRX producing 300PS, a top speed of 158mph and capable of hitting 62mph in 5.2 seconds?

Maybe I’m just jealous……

The LA Auto Show is on its way and Subaru has kept relatively quiet about its appearance. However, a few details have emerged about a new concept that the Japanese manufacturer has been working on.

The Concept in Motion will be revealed at the show, although Subaru is remaining tight-lipped about what the car will look like. Speculation is rife, with many expecting the new concept car to be a new incarnation of the flagship Subaru Impreza. Meanwhile, the manufacturer has been working with Toyota recently to produce a brand new coupe.

We are eagerly awaiting the first pictures of the concept car as soon as the show starts.
